Fabulous Original Vegas Postcards!
Las Vegas Photography
Downtown Las Vegas was used several times
as a location setting for the TV series 'Crime Story'.
The series was produced by Michael Mann, who went on to
produce 'Miami Vice', and then Hollywood movies,
including the recent movie version of 'Miami Vice'.
Most of the second season of 'Crime Story' takes place
in Las Vegas, and there are some great scenes of Las Vegas
of that era, especially the Downtown area, before the 'Fremont
Street Experience', when cars still drove down Fremont Street.
There are also some great interior and exterior shots of the now defunct
Vegas World Casino. You can get the series on DVD below (I have it!).

pick them up at a local bookstore, or you can order them

The one with Frank Sinatra and the rest of the Rat Pack.
The plot is thin, but there are several good exterior
shots of the casinos as they existed in the 60's.
