Built on the ancient ruins of The Hacienda, which was one of
the true pioneers of the Las Vegas Strip, the Luxor
is a colossal monument to imagination. The Egyptian theme
is carried through the casino, but the most dramatic view
of the Luxor is from a distance, especially at night.
However, new management at the Luxor is removing much of the
Egyptian inspired motif, in an effort to entice a younger,
hipper clientele. Too bad.
